Despite of some difficulties, we had three weeks of proclamation of gospel in Central Vitebsk Church, and now 15 people joined our congregation! Pictures!

10 years of history celebrating in Polotsk Church. 11/21/2005
October 22 there was a celebration in Polotsk church. 10 years ago pastor John Dooge from USA made evangelistic series and was founded new church in oldest town of Belarus. Pictures!

Autumn 2005 news. 11/21/2005
A part of church sanctuaries were registred by government, but most of buildings still not have registration. We hope to finish this work till January.

Other news: Every church in our region will have evangelistic meetings in the end of this year. We have program just now in churches: 1st Vitebsk, Baran, Bogushevsk, Lepel, Novopolotsk and Polotsk churches. Other congregations will have evangelisations in December.

Summer 2005 news. 07/25/2005
In this time we are working on registration of our church buildings as places where believers can meet. For a long time of history of Church in Bealrus it was impossible, but now we can use this possibility. We have some changes also in pastor staff, and soon we will update our site to see all changes.

We are sorry that we didn't update our site for so long time. For the last three month we received big blessings from our Lord - God blessed us in the first three months of 2004 year by sixty seven (67) new people !!! We had programs in all - small and big churches of region and our efforts brought fruits for God's Kingdom! Pictures!

Beginning of new project. 03/08/2004
Because of small results in some towns of Vitebsk area and because of beginning of Summer season - when people have lesser interest to public meetings we decided to begin new project. We plan to print enough Bible stuies sets for every church member of our churches for their work with neighbors, co-workers, relatives and just work from home-to-home. We do not have any studies in Russian now so we need to print its ourselves. We need your help in it.

Results of evangelistic programs. 01/01/2004
Thanks to all af you for prayers! God blessed us in the last three months of 2003 year by forty (40) new people who joined the church! The biggest harvest we have in 3 Vitebsk churches - 28 people, Novopolotsk church baptized 4 people, churches in Lepel, Beshenkovichi, Bogusevsk - 2 people each, and churches in Orsha and Amosenki 1 people each. Deaf evangelisation in Vitebsk. 01/01/2004
On the Christmas we had evangelisation meeting for deafs with drama, sermon and tea! Since this Sabbath we are leading special evangelisation sermons for them in hope that they will accept Jesus as Saviour. Pray for that. Pictures!


Children program in Central Vitebsk SDA church . 01/01/2004
On the New Year eve in all churches we had special programs for children with gifts, dramas, poetry and other things what kids can do The church have big future when such great people are growing to change us in next years. Pictures!

Please pray about preparing and leading of evangelistic programs - in the end of October and November almost every church of region will begin new evangelistic efforts to reach people by Gospel.

Events of the 2003 year:

Changes in pastoral ministry 07/10
Pastor of Beshenkovichi SDA Oleg Pushnev going to Minsk region, and instead of him we have new minister in this church - Andrew Volohov. Pastor of Tolochin SDA Vladimir Nikolaenko goes to finish his study in Zaoksky Theological seminary, we have new minister - Pavel Shmat.

Result of evangelistic efforts in region 03/08
7 new members we have now in Vitebsk 2 SDA church after evangelistic series in June - July. This church begun special ministry helping poor people with second-hand clothes, and now we have big good influence in the church area.

Changes in pastoral ministry 03/08
Since last Conference Board in June we have some changes in pastoral ministry:
First Vitebsk SDA church has now new pastor - Vladimir Bayanov, and former pastor Sergey Maskin goes to Grodno region as a regional pastor.

Result of evangelistic series in region 06/03
In the Beshenkovichi SDA church baptized 5 new people, and in town Bogushevsk 4 new members joined our adventist movement.

Changes in pastoral ministry 06/04
Pastor Sergey Dolin moved in Polotsk SDA church in March 2003. He is youth coordinator of Belarus Conference, and he has wife Lena and 4 years old son.

Dedication of church building in Polotsk 08/03
March 8 in Polotsk SDA church was a dedication service of new church building. President of Belarus Conference Moisey Ostrovsky and visitors enjoyed work what been made for the last two years after fire in Polotsk church

Result of evangelistic series in Vitebsk 03/03
Series in Vitebsk finished with 15 new people baptized, it is a result of work of First Vitebsk Church. We are happy that God is continuing to work in our field and still doing great things!

Changes in pastoral ministry 03/03
On Belarus Conference board in the end of February were made some significant changes in our ministy. Pastor Vyacheslav Buchnev, who was our district pastor since autumn 2000, is moving to the capital of Belarus - city of Minsk. Church invited him to be a Pastor of biggest in Belarus 1st Minsk SDA Church. He also will be the Pastor of whole Minsk region. Soon we will invite you on Minsk web page.

Evangelistic series finished 02/23
Series in Novopolotsk finished with 7 new people baptized, Third Vitebsk church have 4 new members, and in Vitebsk, Lepel, Miori, Tolochin we are begining new evangeliistic efforts

Ordination of pastors
In December 2002 five elders ordinated as pastors in the central SDA church of Belarus in Minsk.

The end of evangelistic series in our district: baptized 40 people!
After months of evangelistic efforts in 2 SDA churches of Vitebsk, in Polotsk, Beshenkovichi, Miori and Amosenki churches forty people decided to give their lives to Jesus and joined Sevent Day Adventist church.

2002 and 2001 year events

Events of the 2001 and 2002 years:

April, 2002 Evangelistic series in Vitebsk brought 7 new members in the 3rd Vitebsk SDA church, and 3 in town Miori. We opened a page of church in Miori.

March, 2002 Evangelistic series in Polotsk and Beshenkovichi finished. 13 new members baptezed in Polotsk SDA church, and 6 people decided to be in Adventist movement in town Beshenkovichi. We begun evangelization meetings in Vitebsk, Miori, Bogushevsk. Please pray for these churches have good results of harvest for God's Kingdom. In town Lepel opened new house for worships.March 23 was the dedication service of new house.

February, 2002 Some exiting news! We buyed a home for worships in village Amosenki and church there thanks all of you for prayers and support! Pictures of home are here. Now all our churches have own buildings. In Polotsk begun evangelistic series, pictures are here. Also evangelistic series begun in town Beshenkovichi. In town Gorodok 4 people baptized after series. January 6, 2002 Novopolotsk Church begins new kind of evangelistic meetings, including talk-show about Bible prophecies in the cinema hall. Over 30 people were involved in that interesting project. In town Miori 2 men baptized after Bible studies.

December 15, 2001 New Church in town Beshenkovichi baptized 10 new members!

November 17, 2001 In Vitebsk 11 souls decided to be Adventists after evangelistic meetings, in Kohanovo (Orsha area), four people baptized.

September - October, 2001 In Vitebsk, Kohanovo (Orsha district), Beshenkovichi Churches begun evangelistic meetings. We'll inform you about result soon.

September, 2001 New SDA Church opened in Beshenkovichi, town in 40 km from Vitebsk! Pictures from dedication of prayer house are here.

August, 2001 First Vitebsk SDA church begun work in invalide home in Vitebsk between old people with different illnesses.

August 25 , 2001 Polotsk SDA church begun program of Sunday School for children who live near church sanctuary.

July 29, 2001 Four people were baptized in Novopolotsk SDA church. In our Christian children's summer camp "Hope" was two 10-days terms for kids. All number of involved children was 140, and first time we could accept children with illness in our camp.

July 1, 2001 There has been a re-organization within the Vitebsk churches. The 50 deaf members of the Third SDA Vitebsk Church , will now begin a new church. Two other churches - the Second and Fourth church in Vitebsk have united into one congregation and they worship in one sanctuary.

June 15, 2001 The former pastor of the Novopolotsk church, Oleg Shasha is now the minister of the Orsha church, while Konstantin Uferov, Orsha's former pastor is now the minister of the Novopolotsk Church.

May 26, 2001, Six precious souls were baptized in the Polotsk SDA church as a result of the witnessing work of church members. Pictures here.

April 21, 2001, Saturday night fanatics burned out our church building in the town of Tolochin . Pictures and news will come soon. It is the third church burning in the Belarus Conference within the last year. Previously there were fires in the Polotsk and Bihov Churches.

April 17, 2001, We finished our evangelistic meetings in Vitebsk, held by the regional pastor. We had twelve precious souls that baptized as a result. See pictures on the page of the Second Vitebsk SDA church.

March 2001, We finished evangelistic meetings in Baran, held by the local pastor. We were overjoyed to baptize four people!

February 2001, The Polotsk Church helped two city orphanages with clothing, food and special needs funding. The Third Vitebsk SDA Church organized special meetings and brought help to childrens with serious illnesses.

January 2001, The Novopolotsk SDA Church after evangelistic meetings were held there baptized seven people.

December 2000, In the Vitebsk in cinema theater "Brigantina", the president of the Belarus Conference, Moisey Ostrovsky, held a big evangelistic campaighn resulting in129 precious souls baptized!

October 2000, After a major effort of the Novopolotsk Church in the little village of Amosenki thirty-two people were baptized and a new church was organized!
