Eugene Gerasimov is the Pastor of the Vitebsk 3rd and 4th congregations
and pastor of region. Eugene attended Zaoksky Theological Seminary
and went to Polotsk this January after his ministry in the 4th
Voronezh SDA church. Eugene has a wife Ludmila and two children
- daughter Irina (5 years old) and son Alexander (3 year old).

Day Adventist church in the center of Vitebsk was been founded
in November 1999, after evangelization meetings of Belarus Conference's
president Moisey Ostrovsky.
Church activity and evangelisation: The church now has
about 250 members, most part of them are retired persons, but
there are also and all other age's groups. There is a big group
of Deaf people, and all our worships and programs we interpreting
in sign language. Since this year the deaf members organized own
Fourth Vitebsk SDA Church for deaf people and they have separated
worships.
Exept this outreach program, we have strong program of Sunday
School - every Sunday many children of all ages (from non-believer
families) comes to hear God's word and study Jesus commandments.
Some of these children are with big illness, and our attention
is especially for such children and families. We trying to fulfill
their needs in garments, food, Christmas gifts and other things.
Also we are working in schools and orphanages of city with anti
drug and alcohol programs, telling youth about healthy lifestyle.

Needs: We have strong need in sound strengthening equipment
for program in our sanctuary and also and for many evangelistic
meetings of our region and also equipment for Sunday School -
we have a dream about 3-4 old second hand computers for we could
teach children work on computer and foreign languages. Except
it, we have need in projection machine, like overhead projector
for big evangelization in our sanctuary.
