Date
of foundation: The
Polotsk church was founded in 1995 year after aseries of evangelistic
meetings given by American Pastor John Duge. Hundreds heard the
Adventist message and many were baptized.

Services: Friday 18-00; Saturday 10-00 and 17-00
Church activity and evangelisation: In our church, we
have ministry to deaf people. The interpreter translates sermons
and songs by signs language. We have both a children and a youth
ministry. We was planning to begin a Sunday School for children
of non-believers around our church, and we begun it in August
2001.
Although our church was burned twice last year, causing a great
, inconvenience for us, we never stopped our outreach programs.
We do charity work for two Polotsk orphanages, many poor families,
and we plan to enlarge our ministry to the deaf. We will be having
an evangelistic series for the deaf this summer. In the autumn
we plan to begin an evangelistic series for the inhabitants of
the city.
Needs: The most important need of our church is to finish
rebuilding the church temple. We do not have enough money to make
it by ourselves, so we solicit both your prayers and any financial
help as God has blessed you and his Holy Spirit leads you. God
is blessing the growth of the SDA church in Polotsk. There is
so much need and so little resources. Please consider helping
your brothers and sisters here in Belarus spread the three angels
messages.
